RaceTEX FiberFil Pillow Products
RTX Pillow Packing Products are custom designed to the exact design
dimensions, thickness and densities tailored to your specific muffler design. These pillow type packing products are manufactured from any one of the RaceTEX filfibers required to meet the thermal requirements of that system. These sewn pillow cases are filled to a highly controlled
bulk density to provide the desired sound and heat insulation, easy to install with a precision fit critical to the durability and performance of the muffler.
RTX High Performance Mats Products
Using a novel and proprietary manufacturing process, BCI’s RaceTEX mat products provide a unique solution for thermo-acoustical exhaust system wrap insulation. Using a combination of 3D fiber entanglement, needle punching and linear quilting, we produce the strongest, most uniform mat wrap products on the market, without the use of organic binders which can produce toxic out gassing and lost of physical strength after thermal exposure. BCI offers four types of mat-wrap materials:
RTX T-Mat : Manufacture from continuous filament texturized yarn
RTX V-Mat : Manufactured from continuous filament volumized roving
RTX C-Mat : Standard chop stand glass mat
RTX SS-Mat : Standard and high temperature Stainless steel mat

All high-performance exhaust system mufflers and silencers are uniquely designed to meet the performance requirements and configuration design of that vehicle. RaceTEX fully understands that and works with our customers, OEMs and aftermarket manufacturers to support their unique design system. We not only manufacture these unique thermos-acoustical materials in-house, but also help in the final design and packing configuration. Our RaceTEX Preformed and Custom products are fabricated to specifically fit and perform in those specific units. We focus on fit, form and functions.
